ABOUT ME
I am an Incoming Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Emory University. As an Economist specializing in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, my research explores the intersection of climate risk, infrastructure resilience, and the socioeconomic impacts of extreme weather events.
I use extended input-output models (EIOMs) to measure the ripple effects of critical infrastructure disruptions caused by natural disasters at the regional and national levels. I also examine how these events trigger health shocks that worsen existing social and economic disparities.
